As a graduate of The Clifton Practice in Peterborough with a Diploma in Solution Focused Hypnotherapy, I am also a member of the Association of Solution Focused Hypnotherapy (AfSFH); the National Council for Hypnotherapy (NCH) and the Complimentary and National Healthcare Council (CNHC).

My background is in nursing, midwifery and health visiting -
with a career spanning over 30 years.

 

Lynne Bell Hypnotherapy is based in Higham Ferrers, Northamptonshire in a relaxed setting. Appointments are informal (and sometimes fun!).

My approach

My approach is Solution Focused Hypnotherapy which differs from other hypnotherapy in that it focuses on the present and future rather than the past. It is a very positive, clinically proven method that enables you to set your own goals and work towards YOUR preferred future. The AfSFH describes it as “a type of talking therapy that combines the use of psychotherapy with hypnosis” The technique is also based on up to date neuroscientific research.

Whatever the problem you bring to therapy (apart from smoking) a FREE initial consultation is included. This is to give you an understanding of how your brain works and how therapy helps and, maybe, to dispel any myths about hypnotherapy before we plan future appointments.

My Approach

Initial Consultation (IC)

Over the course of this free 45-minute appointment, we will discuss what you want to achieve through Solution-Focused Hypnotherapy, whether that be relieving stress and anxiety; increasing your confidence or motivation; conquering a phobia; managing your weight; or giving up smoking.

 

After completing a Health Questionnaire, we’ll discuss our brains, how they work, how depression and anxiety can affect us, and how Solution Focused Hypnotherapy helps. We’ll also talk about the benefits of sleep and how we can keep our brain happy and healthy.

 

After planning your future appointments, you will come away from the consultation with a free mp3 link to play at night as you get into bed, which will help alongside the sessions.
